Other theatre includes: as performer, Salomé, Romeo and Juliet, Les Epines, Servant of Two Masters, The Seagull, One Thousand and One Nights, Les possibilités, Gilgamesh, Hiroshima mon amour, Le livre de Damas; as a director and theatre-maker, Al-Zîr Sâlem and the Prince Hamlet (which he adapted from two plays), Chitra Daughter of the King Rabindranath Tagor, The Women Assembly
In collaboration with the Théâtre Jean-Vilar in Vitry-sur-Seine, he created the Mediterranean Arts Platform ‘Al-Wasl’ Festival and from 2011 to 2013, he worked as a specialist in Arabic contemporary theatre at Friche la Belle de Mai in Marseille. In 2003 and 2004, Ramzi Choukair was the artistic and technical director of the Damascus Opera House and in 2008 he was the technical director of the Damascus Arabic Capital of Culture Festival.
